It smoothes your skin overnight by gently increasing cell turnover, removing dead surface cells, and stimulating collagen production. How to use

1. Wash your hands, then face:
Make sure to wash your hands with soap and moisten your face with lukewarm water. Apply 1 to 2 pumps of the Smoothing Cleanser and gently wash your face. Pat dry with a clean towel (that you only use for your face!).

2. Apply the overnight smoother:
Apply 1 to 2 drops of the Overnight Smoother on the back of your clean hand and apply on your face avoiding your lips and upper eyelids. The Overnight Smoother can be applied in the under eye area, not on the eye lid!

3. Apply biome barrier (optional):
You can apply 1 pump of the Biome Barrier to help your skin microbiome remain balanced when exposed to active ingredients such as AHA. Remember to only apply the Biome Barrier if your skin feels dry, as it is an optional step.

4. Next morning - apply sun protection!
It is crucial to always use UVA/B protection when using active ingredients such as AHA. Make sure to apply the Day Shield the morning after applying the Overnight Smoother.

Is the Overnight Smoother safe to use during pregnancy?

We generally advise our clients not to use any products containing active ingredients during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Since the Smoothing Cleanser contains active ingredients such as AHA and BHA, it is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Always consult your medical professional if you have any further questions.

Can I use the Overnight Smoother with dry skin?

Yes, the Overnight Smoother can be applied to dry skin. The Overnight Smoother boosts cell turnover, which aids to gently remove dead skin cells (dry skin), leaving you with more vivid skin. However, if your skin feels excessively dry, you can use the Biome Barrier to help relieve this sensation.

I use retinol in my existing routine, can I use the Overnight Smoother as well?

Yes, it's safe to use the Overnight Smoother while using Retinol. However, it's important to avoid using them simultaneously. Instead, you can alternate between using the Overnight Smoother one day and Retinol the next. This regimen ensures safety and effectiveness.

Can I use the Overnight Smoother also in the morning for a stronger effect?

No, we do not recommend using the Overnight Smoother in the morning. Due to its higher fruit acid content, the Overnight Smoother can make the the skin increasingly sentitive to sun damage. For this reason, it's advised to use the Overnight Smoother only once a day, before bedtime, when the skin is not exposed to direct sunlight. Please be aware that the Overnight Smoother is already formulated with the appropriate dosage. Using it more frequently than recommended won't yield additional effects and may actually harm your skin. Always wear SPF when using skincare with active ingredients.

Do I need to use the Smoothing Cleanser along with the Overnight Smoother to see results?

We always recommend starting our LEVEL I routine using the Smoothing Cleanser and the Day Shield. After a few months when your skin is used to active ingredients, integrating the Overnight Smoother into your evening routine further stimulates skin cell turnover and brings even more pronounced results to your skin’s appearance and health. You will however already experience visible results while using the Smoothing Cleanser.
